Woman, 48, dies in hit-and-run crash; West Palm Beach police seek clues

Kameisha Byrd died Monday after a vehicle struck her as she crossed the street at Forum Way and Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach.

West Palm Beach police are asking for the public's help in locating a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash Monday night. 

Investigators say the vehicle hit Kameisha Byrd at about 8 p.m. that night as she crossed the street at Forum Way and Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, east of Interstate 95. Byrd, 48, of West Palm Beach, died at the scene.

Police described the vehicle as a 2016-2017 black Mazda with four doors.
