Police: Man stabbed his father after being asked to move out of Lake County home
A man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his father.
According to a report from Leesburg Police, Marcos Ricks, 26, was living with his parents at their Lake County home.
The victim and his wife thought Ricks "wasn't respecting their home," so they told him to move out, which sparked an altercation.
According to an arrest report, Ricks screamed at his mother and other family members that they would "all end up dead," and threatened to slash her throat.
According to officers, that's when Ricks took a knife and stabbed his father in the back multiple times. Deputies later observed the man had four stab wounds.
During an interview, Ricks claimed the victim had been choking him and he stabbed him in self-defense.
Officers noted Ricks did not have any visible injuries.
Ricks faces charges of attempted homicide.
