AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – One car went off the road and down an embankment in Austintown Friday morning.

It happened before 7 a.m. at the I-680 Route 11 interchange.

Troopers said the driver went down 30 feet, out of sight of other drivers. He was able to climb out of the car and did not have any serious injuries.

The driver said he had a medical condition that made him lose control.

First responders were able to pull the car out of the embankment using a flatbed truck.
