INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana State Police say a person was shot on I-70 near downtown Indianapolis early Friday.
It happened in the eastbound lanes near Harding Street around 2:30 a.m. Police said two vehicles were involved in some kind of incident. Someone from one of the vehicles was shot.
Investigators said the shooting victim was taken to Eskenazi Hospital.
The shooting remains under investigation.
