Two people were arrested Thursday after officers served a search warrant at a north side location.
Officers went to an apartment building in the 900 block of North Broadway around 9:30 a.m. on a search for fentanyl. One arrest was made but a second person tried to escape from a balcony, then he went back into the building and locked himself inside. Negotiators were called to the scene and the second person was taken into custody around 12:30 p.m.
There were no injuries.
