Two people have been arrested in Wichita after a search warrant was issued by law enforcement personnel in a narcotics search; it started around 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of N. Broadway.
The Butler County Sheriff’s deputies and Wichita Police went to the area to serve a warrant for narcotics, specifically fentanyl.
One suspect was apprehended, but a second suspect tried to escape from a motel balcony and retreated back inside, where he barricaded himself. Police were able to negotiate with the suspect, and he turned himself in.
