From grilled steaks and fish to French and Italian classics, a variety of cuisine is featured on priced-to-entice Flavor Palm Beach menus at 11 island restaurants.

Almond, Ambassador Grill, Cafe Boulud at The Brazilian Court, Cucina, Le Bar a Vin, La Goulue and The Four Seasons’ Florie’s, PB Catch, The Chesterfield’s Leopard Lounge & Restaurant, Tideline Ocean Resort’s Brandon’s restaurant and Mizu sushi bar will feature  three-course lunch menus starting at $20 and three-course dinner menus priced at $30 and higher through Sept. 30.

Dozens of Palm Beach County restaurants are doing the same as part of Flavor Palm Beach, a program area hospitality industry veteran Briana Beaty founded in 2007 to benefit diners and restaurants during the traditionally slow month of September. As diners embrace Flavor’s bargains relative to high-season prices, restaurants fill seats and often tap new patrons.

Eric Lemonides, co-owner of Almond, said September may be slow, “but people are coming out. Some are finding out about us through Flavor and thinking, `Let’s try this place.’”
