3 shot, one fatally, in 2 separate Brooklyn incidents: cops

One person has died and another is in critical condition after gunfire erupted in Brooklyn early Thursday, cops said.

Around 5:30 a.m., a 29-year-old man was shot on Lewis Avenue near Myrtle Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, authorities said.

He was rushed to Woodhull Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. It is unclear where the bullet struck him.

Meanwhile, a 31-year-old man, shot in the neck during the same incident, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

Police are investigating the possibility that the men were involved in a shootout and struck each other, cops said.
