NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Madison late Wednesday night.
The crash happened around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Gallatin Pike and Duling Avenue.
Metro police say the woman, 44, was driving her Nissan Altima south on N Gallatin Pike when, for reasons unknown, she crossed the center left turn lane, going into the path of oncoming traffic. As she crossed the lane, she crashed into a Chrysler 300.
The driver of the Nissan was taken to Skyline Medical Center where she died. The driver of the Chrysler, a 28-year-old woman from Clarksville, was seriously injured. However, her injuries are non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
