It's the first home game week in the Miami Dolphins new training facility in Miami Gardens , and the Dolphins are able to peer across the parking lot to Hard Rock Stadium for any extra motivation they might need. That said, taking on the Buffalo Bills should be motivation enough. The Bills torched them offensively in the final game of the 2020 season, winning by 30 points, with QB Josh Allen's ability to strike though the air and in the ground game. The Bills, who made it all the way to the AFC Championship game last year, are also coming in extra motivated after a loss to the Steelers last week.

"Last year is last year," says Dolphins head coach Brian Flores. "Just like last week was last week. We’re focused on right now, we’re focused on today, we’re focused on our preparation."

There's no looking back for Dolphins head coach Brian Flores, expect for the game tape of course, as the Dolphins defense, for one, prepares for one of the most potent and unpredictable offenses, and versatile quarterback.

"He’s a very talented player," says Flores. "He’s improved incredibly over the course of his career. He’s got a lot of confidence. He has total command of the offense. He has autonomy to make changes at the line of scrimmage. He can throw it; he can run it. They have good backs; they have good receivers. They’ve got good skill all over the field."

On the other side of the ball, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will be looking for a productive offense on more than just the first drive of the first and second half, like in last week’s win in New England. He’ll have another big play weapon available to him with wide receiver Will Fuller being activated this week off his six game suspension, which dated back to last season with the Texans.

"I don’t know what it’s going to look like," says Fuller. "The Bills don’t know what it’s going to look like; but I’m going to do my best to get open and catch the ball. We’ll see how Sunday goes.”

“I think it’s fun and it’s good to have Will back," says Tagovailoa. "We can see in the game plan what things he can do to help us win this game. It’s still things that we need to work with Will on – with me and his timing. That’s what special teams is for. When special teams is out there, I’m pulling him to the side and throwing routes to him – single routes, whatever routes he has in the game plan and things like that.”

Coach Flores was asked what he thought of Tua’s development, with last week’s performance now in the resume. Flores said ““I think he’s a young player who is getting better every time he steps on the field."

There's more great news for the offense, with offensive tackle Auston Jackson and tight end Adam Shaheen practicing on Wednesday. They will both be available following stints on the COVID-19 inactive list.
