Expect Detours On U.S. 60 This Weekend In East Valley
The AZ Department of Transportation says drivers should expect to detour around parts of Superstition Freeway in the East Valley Fri-Sun.
PHOENIX, AZ — The Arizona Department of Transportation says drivers should expect to detour around sections of Superstition Freeway in the East Valley this weekend while crews work on pavement sealing.
The closures will run Friday-Sunday, September 17-19.
ADOT says eastbound U.S. 60 is closed between Loop 101 (Price Freeway) in Tempe and Loop 202 (SuperRedTan Interchange) in Mesa from 11:55 p.m. Friday to 11:55 p.m. Saturday.

Westbound U.S. 60 is closed between Loop 202 in Mesa and Loop 101 in Tempe from 11:55 p.m. Saturday to 11:55 p.m. Sunday.
Crews will reopen parts of the road as work progresses.

ADOT recommends the following detours:
For eastbound U.S. 60: "Consider using either segment of eastbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain or Santan freeways) to travel beyond the closure. Local traffic also can use eastbound Baseline Road or Southern Avenue."
For westbound U.S. 60: "Consider using either segment of westbound Loop 202 (Santan or Red Mountain freeways) to travel beyond the closure. Local traffic also can use westbound Baseline Road or Southern Avenue."
