PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A restaurant that has been "10 years in the making" for a New York City food truck entrepreneur is headed to Park Slope, Patch has learned.

Longtime food truck "Sandwich Girl" is setting up a brick and mortar cafe at 339 Seventh St., a storefront between Fifth and Sixth avenues that most recently Burger Ur Way, according to a post on the storefront.

"From food truck to brick and mortar, the brain child of Sandwich Girl will launch the next phase of her brand," a sign on the door reads.

The eatery is based on a unique superhero-themed food truck run by Inwood resident Shreen Elkenani. Elkenani first brought the business from Miami to New York City in 2016, according to reports from the time.

The entrepreneur first began plans to turn the truck into a brick and mortar cafe a few months ago, according to her Instagram.

Though an official opening date has not yet been announced, a menu on Sandwich Girl's website offers a look into what the cafe will offer.

It includes a mix of burgers, sandwiches and Mediterranean-style platters, along with a selection of drink choices. The restaurant is slated to be open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the website.

A call to the restaurant for more details this week went unanswered.
