State police investigate fatal pedestrian crash on Silverside Road

Delaware State Police continued to investigate a crash that shut down Silverside and Marsh roads and killed one pedestrian Monday.

The crash occurred shortly after 4 p.m. and has left the roadways shut down to traffic and drivers seeking alternative routes.

Police announced the pedestrian had died nearly three hours later, but provided no additional information on the incident in a news release.
