Woman sexually assaulted while taking garbage out, police say

MADISON, Wis. A woman says she was sexually assaulted Sunday night while taking her garbage out.

According to the Madison Police Department, the woman was taking out her garbage on the 4600 block of Atticus Way when a man walked up behind her and grabbed her buttocks.

The victim told police the man then ran away.

Police do not have a suspect.

The incident is under investigation.
