Officials are investigating a crash that happened in northeast Santa Rosa. The head-on crash left two people injured, and Highway 12 had to be closed for over an hour. The crash happened yesterday near Melita Road when a woman driving an SUV and a man in a pick-up collided. The man in the pick-up had minor to moderate injuries while the woman suffered major injuries. Santa Rosa personnel had to extract the woman from the SUV because she was trapped inside. No other details were released.
