A legendary rocker and his grown son is expected to cop a plea in a battery case out of Palm Beach.
It appears Rod Stewart and Sean Stewart will avoid trial for battery on a security guard at the Breakers Palm Beach Resort back on New Year's Eve 2019.
The 76-year old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and his 41-year old son are accused of pushing and shoving guard Jessie Dixon because he wouldn't let them into a party. Witnesses even report Rod punching Dixon in the ribcage.
There is an October 22nd plea agreement hearing scheduled in the case.
The men were facing up to a year in jail had the case gone to trial and they were convicted.
