GEARY COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) – The Kansas Highway Patrol said a 50-year-old Overland Park man was killed in a crash.
It happened Sunday around 5:30 p.m., seven miles east of Junction City.
According to the patrol, a Kia was eastbound when, for an unknown reason, it crossed the median into the westbound lanes and struck a semi head-on.
The driver of the Kia, Jon C. Nevins, was killed in the crash.
The driver of the semi wasn’t seriously injured.
