Woman brutally stabbed near NYC’s Prospect Park in broad-daylight attack

A creep repeatedly stabbed a woman near Brooklyn’s Prospect Park on Friday in a horrifying broad-daylight attack, police said.

Surveillance footage released by the NYPD showed the man casually approaching the 36-year-old victim at around 1:20 p.m. outside a building on Underhill Avenue and Park Place, just two blocks from the park’s entrance at Grand Army Plaza.

The assailant then takes out a blade and begins brutally lashing at the woman, stabbing her multiple times, according to the shocking footage.

The victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

Officers were searching for the knife-wielding madman, who was caught on surveillance cameras riding a bicycle around the neighborhood in black pants, an unzipped hoodie with a red t-shirt, a black hat and white sneakers

The motive behind the disturbing attack was unclear. Investigators were looking into whether he knew his victim, or randomly targeted her, the NYPD said.
