South Dakota high school football final scores

Sioux Falls Christian 15, Tri-Valley 0

Tayton Snyder threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns and the Charger defense held the Mustangs to 134 yards of total offense in the shutout win. Snyder added 36 rushing yards, and his favorite targets on the night were Jaden Witte and Carter VanDonge. Witte caught seven balls for 128 yards and two touchdowns, while VanDonge had eight receptions for 82 yards.

Jacob Doctor added a 26-yard field goal for SFC, while Isaiah Young rushed for 52 yards.

Jaden Siemonsma was the Mustangs leading rusher with 47 yards on 11 attempts.

West Central 33, Milbank 32

The Trojans overcame a 20-6 deficit, winning on Braden Dierickx's 60-yard punt return. Milbank scored on a 24-yard touchdown pass from Kaden Krause to Carter Bowsher to make it 33-32, but the extra point failed, allowing West Central to hang on.

Dierickx caught 10 passes for 194 yards and three touchdowns for the Trojans, who got 216 yards and four touchdowns passing from Gavin Koch.

Marshall Voeltz rushed for 52 yards and three touchdowns for Milbank.

Dell Rapids 42, Chamberlain 14

Austin Henry completed 6-of-7 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Quarriers to the win. Landon Ruesink was on the receiving end of both scoring strikes, catching three total passes for 93 yards. Ruesink also added a rushing touchdown, as did Brayden Pankonen and Jade Anstine.

Cruz Soulek threw for 181 yards and a touchdown for Chamberlain.

Dell Rapids St. Mary 36, Colman-Egan 8

Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central 45, James River 6

Carter Grohs rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries to lead the way for W/WS. Clay Olinger added 63 rushing yards while Hayden Beigh rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown. Blake Larson had 60 yards and a touchdown passing and also rushed for a score. Tryce Slykhuise had three catches for 60 yards and a touchdown. Olinger also had an interception on defense.

Herreid/Selby Area 62, Sunshine Bible Academy 6

Brenden Begeman scored four touchdowns and Trey Sayler scored three in the winning effort. Tray Hettick threw touchdown passes of 70 and 80 yards. Nolan Tribwasser scored on an 84-yard interception return for the lone Sunshine Bible touchdown.

Gregory 31, Kimball/White Lake 6

Rylan Peck threw for 144 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 71 yards and two scores to lead the Gorillas to victory. Owen Hansen rushed for 89 yards and a score. Hansen and Eli Fogel each had 1.5 sacks on defense.

Holden Havlik had 51 yards passing, 22 yards rushing and a touchdown for Kimball/White Lake.

Florence/Henry 56, Waverly-South Shore 0

McCook Central/Montrose 36, Elk Point-Jefferson 20

Trevor Hansen led the way for the Cougars, rushing for 190 yards and three touchdowns, while Gavin Gordon threw for 192 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 55 yards and a score. Cody Miles caught six passes for 95 yards and a score.

For the Huskies, Ben Swatek had a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown. Noah McDermott completed 14-of-19 passes for 159 yards and a score.

SF Jefferson 48, RC Stevens 32

Harrisburg 35, SF Lincoln 27

Mount Vernon/Plankinton 50, Tripp-Delmont/Armounr/Andes Central/Dakota Christian 0

Chris Mayer rushed for 70 yards and three touchdowns, Reed Rus rushed for 88 yards and a score and Griffin Tobin had two touchdowns to go with 47 yards on the ground in the win. Mount Vernon/Plankinton rushed for 317 yards as a team and held their opponent to 56 yards of total offense.

Madison 37, Vermillion 26

Nate Ricke rushed for 94 yards and four touchdowns while completing 17 of 30 passes for 150 yards to lead the Bulldogs to the win. For Vermillion, Ty Hertz completed all eight of his pass attempts for 153 yards and a score, while Jack Kratz threw for 71 yards and a touchdown. Zoan Robinson caught four passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns.

Trey Smith had 11 tackles and Gabe Olson six tackles and a sack to lead the Madison defense.

Avon 60, Alcester-Hudson 24

Avon rushed for 471 yards and used a 24-0 second quarter outburst to pull away for the win. Brady Bierema rushed for 208 yards and four touchdowns to lead the way, while Riley Rucktaeschel rushed for 105 yards and two scores. Jaden Stahl picked up 79 yards on the ground, while Tyler Tjeerdsma had a 44-yard touchdown run. Lincoln Thury had seven tackles and a sack to pace the Pirate defense.

Jovey Christensen rushed for 103 yards and two scores for Alcester-Hudson.

Canistota 46, Viborg-Hurley 18

Tage Ortman completed 9-of-14 passes for 117 yards and three touchdowns, rushed for 50 yards and a score, and Isaiah Robertson ran for 134 yards and two touchdowns to lead Canistota to the win. Noah Kleinsasser added 78 yards and a touchdown on the ground, while Will Ortman had five catches for 73 yards and three touchdowns.

Chance Schollerman had a touchdown run and a touchdown pass for Viborg-Hurley, while Conner Kessler rushed for 95 yards.

Howard 26, Chester Area 8

Karsyn Feldhaus and Ty Beyer each ran for over 100 yards, with Feldhaus picking up 112 yards and three touchdowns and Beyer 105 in the win. Beyer also led the Tiger defense with eight tackles.

Stratton Eppard threw for 107 yards and a 52-yard touchdown pass to Jovi Wolf for Chester.

Groton Area 20, Deuel 14

Kaden Kurtz completed 15-of-23 passes for 155 yards and rushed for 64 yards on 12 carries for Groton. He had two touchdown passes and a touchdown run.

Trey Maaland threw for 149 yards and ran for 33 for Deuel.

Parkston 27, Platte-Geddes 15

The Trojan defense intercepted five passes and Cole Prunty rushed 25 times for 175 yards and a touchdown to lead Parkston to the upset win. Brayden Jervik added 60 yards and a touchdown while adding six tackles and an interception on defense.

Luke Bormann and Ethan Poore each had two interceptions on defense. 

Dawson Hoffman threw for 160 yards and a touchdown for Platte-Geddes, while Grayson Hanson had six catches for 67 yards and a score.

DeSmet 50, Elkton-Lake Benton 0

Colt Wilkinson completed 11-of-12 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs to the blowout win. Rhett Osthus caught four balls for 95 yards and two touchdowns and Kalen Garry caught four for 97 and one touchdown. Garry and Wilkinson each added rushing touchdowns.

Mobridge-Pollock 24, Clark/Willow Lake 16

Holden Eisman rushed for 68 yards and three touchdowns and passed for 89 yards to lead the offense and James Fulkerson had 10 tackles to pace the defense in the win.

For the Cyclones, Trey Huber threw for 113 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 79 yards.
