Renée Fleming with the Houston Symphony at Jones Hall

Experience Jones Hall opening night with superstar soprano Renée Fleming and the Houston Symphony. Fleming will perform opera arias and musical theater showstoppers for the one-night-only special performance.

Third Ward Special Exhibition at Community Arts Collective

Take a journey through Houston's historic Third Ward area through the lenses of six local artists this weekend featuring Marc Furi, Flash Gordon Parks, Rabéa Ballin, Risky Cereal, Brian Ellison, and Derrell Boson, all of whom have significant ties to the Third Ward community. The exhibit continues through September 25.

The Man Who Fell From Earth movie screening at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston

Enjoy a movie break at MFAH with a screening of the 1976 science fiction film starring rock legend David Bowie. Masks are required during films and programs inside the museum auditoriums. Capacities are limited, and advance tickets are recommended.

Pitbull and Iggy Azalea in Concert

Mr. 305, better known as Pitbull, is making a stop in Houston this weekend on his I Feel Good Tour. The tour aligns with his latest single, "I Feel Good," which enlists Anthony Watts and DJ White Shadow. Pitbull is joined by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea for the show.

The Rice Owls take on the Houston Cougars at Rice Stadium

These two Houston schools are going head to head this weekend for the 40th annual Bayou Bucket Classic at Rice Stadium. The match marks one of the few NCAA crosstown rivalries. Last year's game was postponed due to COVID-19.
