Cops busted the suspect who they say gunned down another man for apparently looking at him the wrong way in Manhattan.
Terrence Yates, 39, was picked up by US Marshals in Los Angeles and returned to the city Thursday to face charges in connection to the June 6 shooting death of Akeem White, 29, on East 26th Street near Mt. Carmel Place in Kips Bay, authorities said.
White was walking past Yates — whom cops believe he did not know — around 4:20 a.m. when the gunman confronted him, police said.
“What are you looking at?” the suspect allegedly sneered, before firing off multiple rounds, sources said.
White was shot in the head and taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he died, authorities said.
Yates, of Brooklyn, fled after the shooting and made it all the way to the West Coast, cops said.
He is charged with murder, attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.
