With bipartisan calls for his resignation or impeachment, the governor was left to defend himself Tuesday.

Even the President of the United States, Joe Biden, has now joined the calls for Cuomo to step down.

The governor played the victim card in what appeared to be a pre-recorded address that lasted about 14 minutes--

He offered denials and excuses, but there was no offer of resignation.

Governor Cuomo has repeatedly denied doing anything wrong -- and he doubled down on that just about an hour after the AG’s news conference ended.

The governor spoke directly to two of his accusers -- first Charlotte Bennett -- he says he questioned her about her personal trauma after a sexual assault, because one of his family members was sexually assaulted in high school,

“Charlotte, I am deeply and truly sorry...obviously I didn't.”

He did not address other sexual comments Charlotte Bennett said he made.

As for the unnamed staffer who says Cuomo groped her in the executive mansion --

“Let me be clear, that never happened.”

The governor also offered a slew of photos, showing him kissing and touching the cheeks of both women and men. And offered this explanation for the way he spoke to some women --calling them sweetheart, darling or honey.

“I try to put people at ease...I now understand there are cultural and generational factors that frankly I hadn't fully understood.”

Cuomo says there will be increased sexual harassment training in his office -- we learned from the report that an aide admitted to investigators that she actually signed a form saying Cuomo had taken mandated sexual harassment training.

The governor's attorney has released a statement saying this was an utterly biased investigation and that evidence that didn't fit the narrative was ignored. You can find her full rebuttal of the AG's report on our website.
