HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — As the Delta variant of the coronavirus causes COVID-19 case numbers to climb, Hillsborough County is taking action to make testing more accessible.

The county on Tuesday announced it will resume public testing Saturday.

The following locations will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m (Click links for directions):

Rapid tests will be administered, and PCR tests will be available upon request.

Appointments are not required and the tests will be administered for free. Those with health insurance are asked to bring their policy information.

You must have a government-issued photo ID with your name and date of birth to get tested.

According to Hillsborough County officials, public testing sites are necessary because some residents are reporting 3-day wait times for private testing.
