LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak kicks off the Nevada Recovers Listening Tour with the help of Treasurer Zach Conine and Congresswoman Dina Titus.

The 75-day Nevada Recovers Listening Tour will allow residents in every community to provide input on how the state can utilize and invest the over $6.7 billion that will be received from the American Rescue Plan Act.

“With this federal funding, we have an opportunity that we’d never had before, to fix systemic problems that have existed for decades., I am hopeful that everyone here today will help solve some of these long-standing problems in our state,” said Governor Sisolak Tuesday.

The City of Las Vegas is also seeking public feedback after announcing the city had received $130 million in funds as part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. The city announced it is considering directing funds towards nonprofit support, affordable housing, business, and public assistance.
