- In the wake of NYS Attorney General Letitia James’ independent review regarding allegations of sexual harassment against Governor Cuomo, we’re learning more from the Albany County District Attorney.

In a statement Tuesday afternoon, DA David Soares alluded to an “ongoing criminal investigation” by his office.

The DA’s statement also said “We will be formally requesting investigative materials obtained by the AG’s Office, and we welcome any victim to contact our office with additional information."

This apparent investigation could be tied to an incident that allegedly took place in the Executive Mansion in Albany.

Back in March, the New York Times reported on the allegations made by a female aide, saying she was groped by the governor in the Executive Mansion.

In his taped response to the AG’s report Tuesday afternoon, the Governor said that never happened.
