TOLEDO, Ohio — One month out from the Solheim Cup Fan Fest, the Imagination Station did an early demonstration of what to expect at the Sept. 3-4 event.
Restaurant specials, local music artists, science demos, the Arts Alley and live feeds of the golf action are some of the attractions that will take over downtown Toledo during the tournament.
The science center will be showing its signature "ballsplosion" with liquid nitrogen as well as combustible methane bubbles that can be safely burned in the palm of a volunteer's hand.
The Solheim Cup itself will feature the top 12 U.S. players against the top 12 European players in a match-play competition at Inverness Club.
