Home to not only art galleries, Cypress has many creatives, including surfboard shapers, in its three-block radius. The organizers’ goal is to make the area an industrial arts hot spot for not only Hermosa Beach, but for the entire South Bay.

Rafael McMaster, Resin gallery and South Bay Artist Collective founder, said Monday that more than 500 people attended the event.
