A man shot himself in the leg Tuesday afternoon in Millennium Park, police said.

The incident happened about 2:45 p.m. near Madison Street and Michigan Avenue, according to preliminary information from Chicago police.

The 30-year-old was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, police said.
