Ohio Supreme Court requiring masks for employees, visitors of judicial center

The Ohio Supreme Court announced Tuesday that all staff and visitors must wear a mask inside the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center regardless of their vaccination status.

"The new COVID-19 protocol is in response to the local and statewide spread of the delta variant and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s updated recommendations," the Supreme Court said.

Central Ohio's major hospital networks including the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center,Nationwide Children's Hospital, and Ohio Health also announced that masks are now once again required.

Ohio reported on Tuesday 1,769 new COVID-19 cases, 124 new hospitalizations, and 38 new COVID-19 deaths.
