People in Harrisburg can avail themselves to the COVID-19 vaccine tomorrow, as well as treat themselves to a reward.

The Wolf administration will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Aug. 4 at the Commonwealth Keystone Building at 400 North Street in Harrisburg. The clinic will be open to the public as well as commonwealth employees and their families, and no registration is necessary.

“Getting vaccinated gives us the power to fight COVID-19 and provides the best protection against the COVID-19 virus and variants, including the highly transmissible Delta variant,” said Acting Secretary of Health Alison Beam in a press release. “This event, and other vaccination clinics in communities across state provide an opportunity for you and your families to get vaccinated.”

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be provided for individuals 18 and older, and a limited supply of the Pfizer vaccine will be available for children 12 and older. Second doses can be scheduled with the Department of Health or through another vaccine provider.

Refreshments will also be available from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the nearby Soldier’s Grove. Visitors can make purchases through the Pretzel Spot Cafe food truck and the Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association - including the beloved Farm Show Milkshakes.
