Additional COVID death reported in Kanawha; county death total at 326

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — Kanawha County health officials said there has been another coronavirus death in the county.

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department on Tuesday confirmed the death of a 74-year-old man who was unvaccinated.

Kanawha’s death total from the pandemic is at 326.

The total number of virus cases is at 15,944, up 20 since the last report. Of those, 13,165 are confirmed and 2,779 are probable. Recoveries are at 15,542 up 10.

Active cases are at 76, up nine.
