WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man is facing several charges after police said he forced his way into an Asian grocery store after hours and took items from inside the business.

Last Tuesday around 12:35 a.m., Worcester police said they were dispatched to the Ha-Tien Market at 892 Main St for a commercial alarm. When officers arrived, they said they discovered that someone had actually broke into the business. Officers conducted a building search but did not find anyone.

Police said they were able to view surveillance footage, which captured a person breaking into the business and stealing items. Officers broadcast the description of the person over the radio and began a search for him.
