CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago area prosecutors are waiting on a court hearing in California where a professional skateboarder has been arrested in the death of a man from Wheaton.
Skateboarder Terry Kennedy is 36-years old and co-founder of a clothing and music brand.
He was charged last Tuesday with attacking 23-year-old Josiah Kassahun in an Oakbrook Terrace motel.
According to TMZ Sports, Kassahun had suffered a fractured skull and a concussion before dying on Saturday.
Kennedy had also reportedly been charged with threatening a police officer when he was first arrested.
