Flash flooding is beginning to impact roads across the Grand Strand Tuesday afternoon as storms roll into the area and leave drivers stranded.

Drivers are asked to use caution on the roads and to not attempt to drive through standing water.

"Due to massive amounts of rain in the area we are seeing a good bit of flash flooding in parts of Myrtle Beach," the Myrtle Beach Fire Dept. said. "If you can stay off the road please do so, but if you can’t then you should avoid driving through flooded areas."

Officials with the Myrtle Beach Police Dept. said cars are getting stuck in the road and stalling.
