Somerset woman struck by vehicle in South Carolina, pronounced dead

Somerset resident Rebecca Latuch, 49, died as the result of an accident Monday night in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Latuch was attempting to cross North Kings Highway near 70th Avenue in Myrtle Beach when she was struck by a vehicle. Tamara Willard, chief deputy coroner at the Horry County Coroner's Office, said Latuch was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:20 p.m. Monday.

Latuch died of multiple traumatic injuries, according to Willard.
