The Sioux Falls Police Department is investigating two shootings with airsoft guns that happened Tuesday morning.

Both instances reported to police happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday on Prairie Avenue, one on 10th Street and the other near 13th Street, according to police spokesman Sam Clemens.

Both victims were shot while they were outside and described the suspect vehicle as a "gray car," but no other details were provided. Both victims received non-serious injuries.

An airsoft gun is typically either spring powered or electrical and shoots pellets. The victims in Tuesday's shooting received minor "welts" from the pellets, Clemens said.
