Police identify victims in shooting outside Lincoln shopping center

Lincoln Police have identified the two victims critically injured in a shooting outside Edgewood Shopping Center Monday night.
Police say Jayden Prentice, 19, was shot in the face. Christopher Duncan, 18, was shot in the hip and leg. Both remain in critical condition.
Officers found the victims with another uninjured 18-year-old in a parking lot on the east side of Edgewood Theater around 8 p.m. Two of them were inside of a Mercedes, one of them was outside of the vehicle.
Witnesses told police there was a shootout between two groups of people in two cars. One of the cars took off.
There are still no arrests and no description of that car.
Investigators found several firearms at the scene. Police did not say who the guns belonged to or whether they were used in the shooting.
Police say there were several people in the area at the time, including some who rendered aid and took off. Investigators hope they'll come forward with information.
