Syracuse police find man shot in the back in middle of afternoon on Grandview Avenue

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse police are investigating a deadly shooting.

Police say they responded to an unresponsive personal call just after 2 PM on the 200 block of Grandview Avenue Monday. When officers arrived, they found a man shot in the back. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Investigators have not released any further information on the victim at this point.
