LMPD: 20 teens taken to Children's Hospital for minor injuries after bus accident
Twenty teens were transported to a hospital Monday after a bus accident in southeastern Jefferson County.According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, the accident was reported just before 6:30 p.m. on Billtown Road near the Gene Snyder Freeway.Investigators said an activity bus transporting the teens was headed south on Billtown Road when a car took a left turn in front of the bus.Local paramedics were called to the scene and transported the teens to Norton Children's Hospital downtown out of abundance of caution. Officials said the children had minor injuries from the accident.Additional details were not released.
