A fire burned at strip mall early Monday, damaging a business, a fire official said.
Crews still were investigating what started the blaze that broke out at about 4 a.m. in the 2800 block of Senter Road, San Jose Fire spokeswoman Erica Ray said. Crews controlled the blaze in about 45 minutes, she said.
The fire burned one business unit in the mall but crews kept it from spreading to the others, Ray said.
Nobody was injured.
