HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION: Man's body found in East Baltimore vacant home

BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- Police say a questionable death in East Baltimore from back on July 30, 2021, is now being investigated as a homicide.

At approximately 9:13AM, officers were dispatched to a vacant home in the 2000 block of Kennedy Avenue.

Upon arrival officers observed the dead body of an unidentified male.

The deceased’s remains were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

On July 31, 2021, the Medical Examiner’s Office contacted the Homicide Section to inform investigators that the death of the 38-year-old man was a result of homicide.

Police say the victim’s identity will be withheld until next-of-kin notifications are made.

Homicide detectives have assumed control over the investigation and urge anyone with information to contact investigators at (410)-396-2100.
