Local authorities reported six separate, unlinked shootings from early Sunday morning through the early hours of Monday. Four of these shootings occurred in Denver, with two more in the outlying metro area.

Denver police said a shooting took place around midnight Sunday in the area of South Federal Boulevard and West Iliff Avenue. The investigation shut down a lane of traffic at the intersection as police investigated. One person was injured.

A few hours later, around 4 a.m. and north on Federal Boulevard, police say a shooting occurred in the 1700 block of West Mississippi Avenue. One woman and two girls were injured in the Ruby Hill shooting, according to police. None of the three suffered life-threatening injuries, police said on Twitter.

In Aurora, police continue to investigate a 5:30 p.m. Sunday shooting at 19th Avenue and Clinton Street. They’re asking for anyone with information to reach out; one man underwent surgery for his injuries.

There was another shooting in Denver on Sunday, this one in the Clayton neighborhood, police said. One man was taken to the hospital after being shot around 9 p.m. in the 3600 Block of North Elizabeth Street.

In Jefferson County, the sheriff’s office said one man suffered a minor injury after being shot Sunday night in the 3500 block of South Depew Street.

And before 3 a.m. Monday, Denver police said one person was shot at the intersection of Speer Boulevard and Larimer Street. One person was taken to the hospital with non-fatal injuries, as police shut down a few area streets to investigate.
