A 25-year-old man died Sunday after being hit by a car on the Van Winkle Expressway.

4. Man dies after head-on collision in Heber City

A man died Sunday afternoon after a head-on collision on U.S 189 in Heber City.

5. Trooper, motorists injured in crash on I-215 in West Valley City

A Utah Highway Patrol sergeant and several other people were hospitalized after a crash on I-215 Sunday morning.

1. Olympic dream 'finished': MyKayla Skinner wins silver on vault

In the end, it was a storybook ending with all the twists and turns of a movie. From being named an alternate to the team in 2016, to contracting COVID-19 and pneumonia as she made her comeback as the oldest gymnast in competition for the United States, to coming up just short of qualifying for the vault final, it was all part of the long journey to a remarkable finish to her career.

5. Utah Olympians: Herriman's Rhyan White wins medal with medley relay

Herriman native Rhyan White will leave Tokyo with a silver medal after the American women came in second in the 4X100 medley relay. White didn't swim in the final, where the U.S. was just out-touched by Australia at the end, but she swam in the qualifying race to earn a medal.
