Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate a fatal crash in Bradford County.

The crash shortly after noon Thursday, July 29 happened on Route 220 and Kellogg Road in Monroe Township, claiming the life of 73-year-old Vincent Sabonis of Bristol, Pennsylvania.

State Police say Sabonis was driving a Utility Task Vehicle when he entered the roadway into the path of a construction truck driven by 61-year-old Charles Swain of Granville Summit.

Sabonis was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say Swain was trapped in the cab of his vehicle and was removed by emergency responders.  He was transported to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre with what were believed to be serious injuries. His condition was not available.

Route 220 in the area was closed for several hours.
