Arrest made in fatal shootings of 2 men found 3 miles apart in St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG — A 31-year-old St. Petersburg man shot two friends to death, dumped their bodies three miles apart and fled on foot before he was captured by officers, police said.

Patrick Cretors faces charges including two counts of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths Sunday night of Geno Hansana, 29, and Ai Noy Graham, 30.

Hansana’s body was found in the 3200 block of 11th Ave. S. after police received a report of suspicious circumstances at 7:18 p.m., according to a news release.

Twenty-four minutes later, police received a call about an unresponsive man inside a vehicle in the 2800 block of 20th Ave N. Officers found Graham dead of apparent gunshot wounds.

Detectives learned that the incident started as a disagreement among friends and ended with Cretors shooting both Hansana and Graham. Cretors dumped Hansana’s body in the street on 11th Avenue South and abandoned a vehicle with Graham’s body inside on 20th Avenue North, the news release said.

Cretors fled on foot and officers located him soon afterward, the news release said.

He was being held without bail Monday in the Pinellas County jail. He also faces charges of shooting into a vehicle, burglary of an occupied dwelling, burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, grand theft, stalking and possession of ecstasy.

Efforts to reach family members of Hansana and Graham through multiple phone numbers and email addresses were unsuccessful Monday afternoon.

The deaths came on the heels of another fatal shooting Saturday in which a 27-year-old woman died near the corner of 60th Street South and First Avenue South inside a vehicle with her two young children. The children were not injured.

“We are at a higher level of shooting deaths this year than in past,” St. Petersburg police spokeswoman Sandra Bentil at the scene of the second shooting. “It’s tragic, absolutely tragic that we have this many people deceased at this point in the year. Normally these are numbers we see at the end of the year.”
