Man in critical condition after being hit by pickup while crossing Southeast Side road

SAN ANTONIO - A man is in critical condition after being hit by a pickup truck on the Southeast Side.

The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday on SE Military Drive near S. Flores Street.

Police said the man was trying to cross SE Military when the driver of the truck said he didn't see him until it was too late.

Police said the driver remained at the scene and there were no signs of intoxication. He is unlikely to face any charges.
