Lawnmower isn’t Duluth police’s favorite mode of transportation, surprisingly

DULUTH, Ga. — Now we know this may come as a big shock to you, so strap on your seatbelts.

A riding lawnmower isn’t an acceptable form of transportation, at least not if you’re in Duluth.

Duluth police posted a photo over the weekend of a man driving down Buford Highway on his lawnmower.

While it’s great for getting the lawn mowed, it’s not as great at getting you around town.

Police said you shouldn’t even have to be “‘asking for a friend.’”

Officers didn’t comment on whether or not the driver was cited for going over the speed limit on it, but it’s probably best to avoid any confusion and keep the lawnmower where it belongs.
