The Delta Variant is leading to an increase in vaccination rates in Texas. The Texas Department of State Health Services says in early July, the state was giving out about 44,000 shots a day. Now it’s up to 67,000. 67,000 shots a day may sound like a lot, but there were a few days last winter when the state administered 300,000 a day.
