YAKIMA COUNTY -- Thick smoke from fires all over the Pacific Northwest has blanketed Yakima and Kittitas Counties causing the air quality to be unhealthy.
According to the Department of Ecology, the air quality has now reached a level that is unhealthy to all.
Smoke is expected to linger for a few more days. Experts are hopeful that the air quality can improve soon.
Officials with the Department of Ecology say everyone, especially sensitive groups, should limit outdoor exposure.
