ELKMONT, Ala. — At least seven fire departments responded to a house fire in Elkmont Sunday afternoon.
Fire officials say the fire happened off Old Highway 31 and the call came in at 2:51 p.m.
The homeowners said they had comeback to their house when they discovered a fire, and immediately called 911.
No injuries were reported, but firefighters say the home was heavily damaged.
